The Shanfari Group’s highly diversified interests span a variety of domains includes roads and infrastructure, tourism, automotive, metal industry, ready mix concrete, aluminium and Oil & Gas. Led from the front by Dr. Adil Bin Said Al Shanfari, Vice Chairman & CEO, the Company is headquartered in Muscat, Oman, with field operations, manufacturing facilities and offices across the Sultanate.
Shanfari Group was running company emails on a local company emails on a local Windows Small Business Server environment and becoming increasing reliant on email for both internal as well as external communication. They had taken the decision to move all email functionality to the Office 365, enabling their users to access to their emails on a highly available and scalable solution.
After reviewing the email system and analysing the impact of email downtime for the business, KalSoft recommended that all email functionality would be better suited to being hosted in a private on-premises server environment. With a large number of email users all over, the client required an email system that provided full high availability, flexible licensing costs and KalSoft digitize solution consisted of migrating their emails to Office 365.
