National Aluminum Products Company SAOG (NAPCO) was established in 1984 and is one of the leading extruders of aluminum profiles in the GCC market. Located in the Sultanate of Oman, the manufacturing plant is spread over 62,000 sq meters in the Rusayl Industrial estate.

NAPCO offers a wide range of Aluminum profile extrusions in finishes that suit functional modern design specifications. The company has left its mark on the architectural landscape of the Middle East with its renowned quality products being used in several prominent structures. Annual production capacity is 42,000 MT, with four state of the art extrusion presses from Europe.

In 2021, NAPCO was struggling with outdated infrastructure such as old servers and end of life hardware. Applications needed to be updated to the newer versions. To do this, all their hardware had to be updated/replaced and applications needed to be migrated.

They were also facing a challenge to migrate their ERP system and user data Including the backup from old servers and restore data after verifying any replications.

KalSoft analyzed NAPCO’s environment and needs and proposed them migration to Azure services.

Our services included the following measures:

  • Create Tenant
  • Create Azure Landing zone
  • Create VNet
  • Configure Site to site VPN
  • Create three (3) Azure Virtual Machines
  • Assignee IP address and NSG
  • install & configure Application on these machines as per their requirement
  • Backup (from physical server) and restore data on azure VMs
  • Test connectivity / Application

The solution and services provided at NAPCO are not limited to one customer and similar solutions were deployed for other clients as well.
