Sultan Qaboos University is the realization of the promise announced by His Majesty Sultan Qaboos Bin Said during Oman’s 10th National Day in 1980. Construction started in 1982 and the first students were enrolled in 1986. In accordance with Royal Directives, the University began with five colleges—Medicine, Engineering, Agriculture, Education, and Science—followed by the College of Arts in 1987, the College of Commerce and Economics in 1993, the College of Law in 2006, and finally the College of Nursing in 2008.

KalSoft proposed a data warehousing technique to convert data into aggregated information through cubes. Microsoft SSRS was used to transform the data within these cubes into valuable insights. The dynamic data captured through the event absorber helped visualize historical data using Power Pivot. Dashboards based on HOLAP technology using SSAS provided valuable insights within seconds. A data warehouse resolved the challenge of managing, integrating, cleaning, and structuring large data sets.
